The Pleasure of Sharing!!

Hello friends!

Hope you are having a great time - making memories with your kiddies!

Most of us might have realised that after entering Parenthood, we eagerly wait for our tiny little munchkins to go to ‘The Big School’. Somehow, excitement and anxiety both come in together to our minds. And truly speaking, our little ones are more excited than us. The cuties often state it very responsibly,”Mumma! I am a big kid now, I can do it myself! After all, I will be going to the big school”, leaving a broad smile on our faces.......Don’t they? J

Soon, the day comes and our kiddos start going to school, jumping, running, blushing and some of them crying too! As time passes all of us get settled in our respective schedules. We get busy in developing their interests in learning new things and preparing them for different activities as poem recitations, story narrations, dancing to the beats, singing rhymes, fancy dress competitions, stage performances and many more. I believe all these activities play a very important role in enhancing child’s interests, developing personalities and building self confidence. Participation is a must!

Being a mother, I have also gone through (and am still going through) such enjoyable stages. And this has been possible when I decided to take a break from my career to attend to my little one.

My daughter’s school used to hold one activity each month. The topics for these activities were open and the parents could select any positive topic and get the child prepared. We were more than excited to make our daughter participate in all of these activities. But then we thought – Will it be too much for her? We didn’t want her to feel pressurized. Fortunately, her enthusiasm encouraged us throughout. We used to search for different and unique topics which we could take up for the activities. I developed quite an interest in this and got involved in preparing the content and making my darling daughter get ready for the activities. I started preparing different props, costumes for different activities. I decided to ‘Do it Myself’.
